August 13th

Yesterday was our last eat-out at our rotisserie chicken place. It was spiced/herbed the best we have had. We will miss this place as well.  🙁  We also trekked about and had our last offer for an “adventure”- camel, horse, quad bike, or wind surf.  I will actually miss one guy in particular, because he recognized us but still would ask us and add “maybe today?”  🙂  (I'm smiling just thinking about it.) Also noticed they have not been working on are plaza, so it is definitely NOT going to be finished before we leave. 

Today was getting in touch with some of those we love back in the states. For lunch we debated on pizza or getting a hamburger. Jeff found a 'best' hamburger place – highly rated online and the owner was from Chicago. So hamburgers won out!! WOW! They were excellent! Maybe it has just been too long, but UMMM. The place was called Munchies.  Jeff had the Munchies Cheese Burger- cheddar cheese, burger sauce, lettuce, red onion, and pickles. I had the Goat Cheese Burger- goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions & mushrooms with dijon mustard. We split some fries. Sooo good!

Then back to our place… to pack! We leave tomorrow!! Crazy, but this apartment has been HOME.  We have been here since June 14th. Anyway, we then watched our church service back home. At 8pm our realtor guy came by and we gave him one set of keys to the apartment. We finished day with the last of our popcorn and a mojito!
