Moroccan Living 29
July 31st
Yesterday was lunch out: grilled dorado fish and beef kebabs. Then seeing our church friends and our families.
Today we awoke to howling wind bursts. It has been blowing all day steadily 20mph with bursts of 30+mph. On our walk about occasionally would have to catch my balance with some steps, due to the wind bursts!!! The beach scene is Crazy! – just swirling sand!! Anyway, for breakfast we had finished our Moroccan pancakes and on our walk about we were searching for lunch. The one month old restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn't opened today. 🙁 So we were looking… decided on a place we have eaten at before (back on June 23rd, over a month ago!) called Resto Jarar. (It was where I ordered our first taste of pastilla.) We both had lamb chops and frites today. So yummy! It is the only place we have been to that has served lamb. (Jeff had lamb tagine before.) Other places have had it on the menu but it wasn't available. Supper will be light, probably salad and bread.
As always, we are thankful and blessed. 🙂
