Living our dream,

 traveling the world!

Moroccan Living 16

     July 7th

First off, shout out to our favorite niece — HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

Yesterday, highlights… walking the boardwalk, explored new streets of the Medina – to us, and eating pastillas! Sunset was better than it has been in awhile!

Today, we made baghrir, Moroccan pancakes. These are so good rolled up with Nutella, or peanut butter and jam!!! Anyway, after breakfast, Jeff's back was an issue. So very low key morning. But I will add, I brought my TENS unit, and so glad I did. (Jeff and I both have had back issues before. He has never used the TENS before.) It helped Jeff, after one session!! Thankfully, we neither one have needed it until now!  🙂

Since Jeff felt better we went out (but I made sure he was not pushing it). First, lunch! Decided to stop and eat at our local place, (This is where Jeff always gets our take out Shawarma, the owner recognizes him.) Then we walked the boardwalk and on to the Carrefour. Bought some needed supplies, and caught a taxi back to our place. Now, took it easy and siesta time.

Supper was French-type: 1/2 red bell pepper; two cheeses – Roquefort, and Edam; baguette with EVOO; wine; and chocolate, of course (I don't know if I have been mentioning chocolate, but we have a square each night!)  😉

Hopeful, as always for God's display, a sunset painting!
