October 7th
Awoke and leisurely about. Breakfast at 08: omelettes, fluffy bread (similar to croissants inside), two kinds of jam and tea. Finished, we loaded up to move on – it's 09 and George said we have a four hour drive.

We are continuing south. We went through several small villages – Salary is one remember. We also met more traffic, which on these one lane “roads” can be awkward. Trying to back up in sand is pretty difficult. George pointed out another parakeet. It was rousting in the top of a tree. Their parakeets are brown and larger sized than birds we call parakeets.

Then we hit the main road – blacktop. So, so much nicer! 🙂 Then George remembered our place, as we passed it! He had to back up and pull in. (So it did not take us 4 hours.) We arrived at Bamboo Club, at noon.We checked in and I laid down – I am so tired from this sinus/Upper Respiratory infection. Good thing we have so much free time here along the beaches – shoreline. Again we have a free afternoon. We had some left over muesli and raisins for lunch. George came at three and said there is a forest excursion we could do at four. I tried to get Jeff to go but he would not and I am not up for it. So we opted out.

Our little bungalow is overlooking the ocean and the small strip of beach. Local people pass by and stop – looking in at us trying to get us to buy “a massage,” “a sarong,” or “a boat ride”. It is actually a bit annoying, the lack of privacy. Our room has a fan, but if we closed the door it would be hot!

Sunset was great again, with the aftershow being excellent. Supper was right after. We had starters of quiche – loaded with the same veggies that made up the veggie augratin; and salad with corn, tomatoes, cucumber, and cheese and nice vinaigrette. Mains: fish balls in a tomato taragon sauce (mine with french fries, Jeff's with the veggie medley -carrorts, green beans, and squash). Dessert was actual ice cream – small scoops of vanilla, and cocoa; and pineapple biegnots. George came and gave us the “skinny” for tomorrow.

We went back showered, wrote and early bed
