September 17th

Today I did a marathon- well, it felt like it anyway! I walked a few city blocks- outside! It was glorious!!!   🙂  So good to be up and about. It was all I could manage, but it was great. I went back and had to put on my TENS unit. I had not needed to use it for about 15 hours prior. So that is definitely progress and the only reason I attempted the walk! 

We are winding down our time here in Mauritius. There is only one week left to explore a little more- God willing. (God had in mind for us to really slow down, I guess!!) One thing is for sure it has been “island time”.

Thanks again to everyone for their prayers! It causes such peace to know we can lift up situations to our marvelous Maker. Later, we will be getting in touch with our friends and families. It does not appear to be much of a sunset tonight as it has been cloudy all day with some rain this morning.
