Living our dream,

 traveling the world!

Georgetown, Malaysia #10

     –September 29,

Up and about, we had our Javas and breakfast of Muesli and yogurts. Then Jeff called for a Grab taxi and we went to a church Jeff had researched online, called Kingdom City. It only took us around 15 minutes to get there, which was good as the taxi was late arriving to us. We made it 10 minutes before the 1100 start.

The worship service was awesome! We sang new songs we have not even heard – only one song that we knew. Great worship band of drummer, keyboards, and a guitar – plus six singers. The sermon was a live video feed from a Perth, Australia conference. Speaker was minister Bill Johnson, a senior leader of Bethel Church from Redding, CA. He had some thought provoking statements (Jeff and I discussed some at length later at supper.) We were even given a visitor bag that had a small water bottle, a small bag of tissues, and a mentos breathe freshener!

After service we walked over to a food court for lunch, but it was already closing up – Bummer! So we went to a Subway right nearby and split a foot long sandwich of Bulgogi Chicken (which is Korean BBQ chicken) sweet and savory tasting. when we finished we walked over to the closest bus stop and caught the bus back to our place. We took a seista.
At 1800 we went out for supper at a close by food court, choosing Sation Warung Kita. We thought we ordered Nasi Goreng and Koey Teow but not sure that was what we had. Both dishes had deep fried chicken thigh and a drumstick – but one was with stir-fried rice and the other was with stir-fried noodles. The rice and the noodles had the same coloring but each had unique flavors. I had an iced milk tea and Jeff had a iced lemonade. Super good food.

After we finished went back to our place. We talked with my mother. Then we connected with our church brethren back home.

—-September 30,       Happy Anniversary to Jeff's sister and our B-I-L!!!

Started the morning with our Javas. We then talked with my sister, getting all caught up! Now we had our Coconut French Toast. When I cracked the egg for the batter – it was a double yoked one! Surprise, surprise, surprise! Then we talked with Jeff's sister, completing our link ups with family!

Then it was lunchtime, we had snack-type meal. The tomatoes, mini peppers, and hummus with crackers. After we finished we decided to just hang out today. Caught up on some You tube, watched the Chiefs' highlights. Finally, around 1700 we went down for a swim. The pool in our complex is narrow, but very long- way longer than an Olympic pool of 50 meters! There was only 3-4 others in the pool, but as we were finishing up a big group came! That was good timing. Back up in our room, we made pasta with some puree tomatoes and garlic sauce with chopped mini peppers, onion, and meat sausage that we had picked up in a Non Halal section of a grocery store. We accompanied the pasta with a Chilean wine and some bread & butter.

Today was simply living someplace else kind of a day! Bed by 2200.
