Da Lat, Vietnam #59

December 23,
Awoke and around, looked outside and it was total cloudy sky. Bummer😒! But we would be busy this morning inside, so I guess it worked out. We had our Javas and breakfast of scrambled eggs and a Russian salami meat, which was very good.
Then the morning was spent on WhatsApp with my sister, Jeff's sister & her husband, and texted/videoed with my bother and other family. So finally, the cat is out of the bag. We will be going back to the USA in November of 2025 for a visit – hence all the planning we have been doing.
After all this chatting, we finally set out for lunch. We went to our five course place, Bun Bo Co Be. We ordered two set menus – one being the Lemongrass Pork loin, and the other Deep Fried Fish. We also had a lettuce salad with rice vinegar-oil dressing; Chinese cabbage with minced pork soup; stir-fried Bok-choy with garlic; Rice; and the dessert of herbal grass jelly. I had an orange 7UP and Jeff had a beer. It was good as always. The only difference in the place – there was a different cat scrounging around for anything dropped or slid its way. 🤣🐈😂!! Our bill was 155,000 Dong – $6.09.
We walked back as the weather was cool/cold appearing like it could rain at any time. Afternoon was watching You tube, blogging, and reading. For supper we had light French dinner of apple and homemade yogurt, crackers & cheese with wine. It was overall a good day to link up with family.
December 24,
Well, we got up & about with a look outside… We realized it was a same, same day — only thing different was another day. 😑 Cloudy again and weather man said rain likely in the late afternoon/early evening. So we had our Javas and breakfast of Muesli, yogurt, and milk.
Then started out as soon as it warmed a bit and we were hungry – around “noonish”. Unfortunately, I had another vision and dizzy spell right off. That ended the our outing and we trekked back the thirty or so yards we had gotten!!! I started chugging some water and deduced these episodes are either low blood pressure or from the OTC Allegra I have been taking. Tomorrow I will stop taking the Allegra and see what happens.
So we had a light French lunch, and just chilled out the afternoon/evening. Jeff went to the grocery store and then for take out supper. He went to a You tuber recommended place, Lau Ga La E 668. Jeff ordered the – Ga Nuong Lu – Grilled Chicken, 1/2 chicken portion as take away. He said he hired a Grab scooter back. When Jeff arrived, we sat down and at it while it was hot. It came with an awesome spicy green sauce, a cucumber, 1/2 lime, green chillies, and s&p. (The last two items we did not need.) The chicken was very good, and with a small bit of that sauce and lime… Ohh-la-la! We had a red wine with it and for dessert we had a homemade yogurt. Nice meal.
Finished the evening blogging, reading and relaxing… Another simple living day, some place else.
