April 23th

We left Narbonne by 0840, and headed back up the Canal de la Robine; half a km up the river Aude; and into and up the Canal de Jonction. Then on into Canal de Midi and cruised to the town of Argeliers. [Total=19km and 9 self-service locks — we did not have to call:) ]

We strolled about this quiet, quaint town. But had to end and get back to our boat. It started to sprinkle on us. 

While we were cruising we did see some pretty birds, butterflies, and bunches of flowers. One type of bird may have been a Kingfisher – it was very iridescent with a green belly and red/yellow back as it flew, tres magnifique!!
