Living our dream,

 traveling the world!

Agde- Last night on Margot

Pont des Trois Yeux

    April 28th

Left and traveled 10 km to our last destination – Agde.  🙁   But before we moored up, Jeff took our precious Margot, our boat, into it's last lock (for us).

This lock is HUGE!! It's called, Bassin Rond.  There are three openings: two for Canal du Midi–upstream and downstream; and last for the entry into the river Herault, which is the shortest way to the Mediterranean Sea.

Next we went to a grand lunch – on a barge, of course, L'amiral! I had a starter, goat cheese salad; main – Sea Bream fish with side potato au gratin; and dessert – apple tarte. Jeff: starter, fried “tiny” fish; main – Sardines with side potato au gratin; and dessert – creme caramel.

Then back to boat and gathered laundry — and well, next couple of hours- did laundry.

Figured up our trip total:  157 km = 98miles in two weeks!!!      That's SLOWING DOWN!   🙂
