Living our dream,

 traveling the world!

Agadir, Morocco

     May 29th

Today is a huge transition day. We woke and while getting ready kept hearing BANG, BANG, BANG. There is work going on in the hall adjacent to our bathroom. It was loud and at times hard to communicate. Finished repacking for flying.  At 11, we vacated those premises!!  Wow! When we popped out into hall, the worker apologized. Our Air B&B then texted Jeff and apologized – the work was not supposed to start until noon. Anyway, we went to get lunch. The place we went to was supposed to open for lunch at 10. Google failed us – well it was open but not for lunch. So we each had a pastry and juice, a second breakfast, really. Trying to make this last a while, but not very successful. We paid and left at noon. Our flight out is not until 6:25, that's pm. So we were really early. But there was like 100% chance rain all day long so went ahead and took a bus then metro to Porto Airport. The airport wants us there three hours before our flight, not five and 1/2 hours before, which we were. SOOO… we waited, and we waited. Finally, 3 hours before our flight we could get boarding passes. Then through security, about 15 minutes. Then we went to the lounge; had some soup & sandwiches. This helped time pass. Finally we had a gate. We noticed the rain and that we had to walk on tarmac in that rain to board. We actually became more wet boarding, than we ever have this whole six weeks!!

Anyway, uneventful flight – that's always a winner.

Touchdown in Agadir, Morocco at sunset – gorgeous! Jeff had arranged a person to take us to our “apartment” through our host. It's a nice place. (Will take a picture of front room and sent it on tomorrow's blog. It said to me welcome to Morocco!)
