What a beautiful day! We went out and explored the capital city. The weather forecasters here are not any better than back home. It was supposed to have been rainy, but it was not. Sunshine, as we walked about the city to get up to a recommended hike. Rec del Sola. It's a dedicated walkway along an irrigation canal that skirts the upper levels of the town. People have built up little garden areas – a terracing if you will. We witnessed a few  gardeners “tilling their plot”. It was an good jaunt – five km, just over 3 miles. This area seems to be prone to rock slides. There are plenty of boulder catchers or fencing.

After our hike, we went to lunch. We split three appetizers: croquettes, on a bed of lettuce; toasted bread wedges with spread of olive oil and fresh puree of tomatoes; and a sampling of five cheeses with sliced grapes. We accompanied this with an unoaked Spanish Chardonnay. Excellent lunch after a gorgeous morning!!!  (There was a rain that interrupted our outdoor attempt at lunch, but we just picked up and went inside the establishment!)

All in all, was another grand day. Andorra has a beautiful capital city.
