Arrived in Toulouse France!… it was a long travel day. We caught a bus to our hotel, Hotel Bordeaux, and unloaded our bags. Then we went on a walk about of the city. Our hotel is about two miles from the start of the Canal du Midi from the La Garonne River. The weather is crisp, cool – good for walking and refreshing to keep us awake. The flowers are all abloom. Spring is definitely here. The sun played peekaboo amongst the clouds. This made the city quaint along with the narrow streets lined with 3-4 storied buildings decorated with plant-strewn rod iron balconies. Our day ended with some cumin, smoked gouda cheese and a St. Michel white wine.
